There are pros and cons to the real estate on offer. It can be limiting if you want to let your mind, and pen, wander — this is where the infinite canvas of FreeForm on the iPad comes in. But somehow the limited space makes notes more compact and focuses the mind. It works for me.
I get maybe five days of good battery life — good meaning I'm comfortable going out in the morning with it.
The Pro pen is worth the investment; it somehow just feels more tactile and precise. The cheapest covers are okay, but the light colour absorbs dirt and soon looks less than pristine — haven't tried one, but third-party covers are now available.
